I love to see the sunrise at Rock Harbor with all of the boats at the docks. It is so picturesque. I took this photograph a couple of weeks ago when there were still quite a few boats in the water.
So pretty, don’t you think?
Yesterday was one of those 10 best days here on Cape Cod. It was sunny with the temps in the low 70s… just gorgeous! So, we took a long walk on Coast Guard Beach and got to watch the surfers having a blast. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
Unbelievable weather for this time of year! And so much fun to see so many surfers out in the waves.
I bet this is not what you thought of when you read the title, “Kayak Fishing On Cape Cod.” This Great Blue Heron was making very good use of this yellow kayak to stand on while fishing for breakfast. It was obvious that he had done it before as he he flew in and was quite adept at it. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
We watched him for quite a while while he kept catching fish after fish. He certainly had found the perfect fishing spot!
This huge cruise ship dwarfed everything else in Provincetown Harbor. I could see it as we drove over the causeway the other day and was it big! (Click on blog link for other photo.)
I like the 2nd photograph that shows the coastline of Provincetown with Pilgrim Monument in the background and the size of that massive ship.
It was a gorgeous day to walk to the beach on Saturday with the sun shining and the skies gorgeous. I walked over the salt marsh and took 2 photographs. They couldn’t be more different. (Click on blog link for other photo.)
What do you think? The tide was so high… it must be that time of the year again!
