I posted a photograph of a paddleboarder with her dog a while back at Rock Harbor. It was such a great sight to see the dog enjoying the ride out through the channel markers and along the shore.
A few days ago I saw the same paddleboarder with her dog at Boat Meadow Beach. This time she had a wet suit on! Both were seemingly enjoying their ride again. So much fun even this time of year!
This boat was making its way out at high tide through the channel markers at Rock Harbor. I loved the early morning lighting with clouds on the horizon.
Yesterday was a windy, windy day and perfect for kite surfing on the creek behind First Encounter Beach. It was fun to watch the 2 kite surfers as they did their maneuvers. (Click on blog link to see other photo.)
In the 2nd photograph, the kite surfer jumped so high in the air, I got him in my frame but not the kite. Pretty cool, don’t you think?
The tides in Cape Cod Bay are so drastic that the boats at Boat Meadow Beach are on the sand at low tide. You can walk out for miles at low tide, but must wait for the tides to change to take your boats out.
It was such a pretty day with a few clouds and a blue sky. We took a walk down to the Eastham side of Rock Harbor and sat on one of our favorite benches. It was low tide and so pretty.
I loved the soft, pastel colors and the couple walking out on the flats. What do you think?
