If you take a walk around the harbor in Wellfleet, you can see this old anchor right by the launch ramp. I wonder how old it is. It looks ancient!

Have you ever seen this anchor? Very cool, don’t you think? And then your imagination takes over… What kind of boat was it on? How long ago?

We found another great picnic table here at Rock Harbor, complete with amazing views. It doesn’t get much prettier!

Semipalmated Plovers At Skaket Beach In Orleans On Cape Cod.

There were a few Semipalmated Plovers scurrying around on the flats at Skaket Beach the other day. They sure do move fast! Love the distinctive black ring around their necks.

Semipalmated Plovers usually migrate right around now, so you’re lucky if you see one!

The boats are still there… at Rock Harbor in Orleans. The weather has been so warm that I’m sure they are still going out.
