The sun was just starting to come up at First Encounter Beach and the shack was still dark before the crowds would descend on the beach to get some respite on this hot summer’s day.
It’s been so windy here on Cape Cod the past few weeks, and this Sunfish looks like it’s taking advantage of the windy conditions. I loved this photograph with the stormy skies and the vibrant colors of the Sunfish. You can even see Jeremy Point in the background.
I love biking along Herring Brook Road and looking out toward First Encounter Beach. The dunes look so cool as they dot the horizon. And then you ride to the beach and they are so pretty. This was early in the morning… look at those clouds!
The iconic big , blue chair is back in its place on the beach in Provincetown waiting for those thousands of tourists to pose for that “perfect photo op!”
It’s so much fun to watch all of the people climb up on the chair and enjoy it throughout the summer.
