“Nauset Light, officially Nauset Beach Light, is a restored lighthouse on the Cape Cod National Seashore near Eastham, Massachusetts, erected in 1923 using the 1877 tower that was moved here from the Chatham Light. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.”
I love this photograph with such a dramatic sky. What do you think?
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday from Cape Cod! May you find some peace and happiness on this day… and maybe even a little time outside to enjoy nature.
Nauset Light is always spectacular on Cape Cod… no matter what time of the year. I took this photograph the other day. Just beautiful, don’t you think?
Nauset Light, part of the National Seashore, was just spectacular with the blue sky and gorgeous clouds in the background. You can never get enough photographs of Nauset Light… each time you go, it looks so different.
Pretty, don’t you think?
Wednesday was a glorious day for a bike ride… anywhere on Cape Cod. It was sunny, breezy and beautiful with temperatures in the mid-sixties. Just perfect for a bike ride.
I got on the Cape Cod Bike Trail and headed out to Coast Guard Beach. I think it’s one of the prettiest rides around here. It was so nice that I continued out to Nauset Light Beach and Nauset Light. You couldn’t ask for a better day and I wondered when the next time I could do this would be with the colder weather coming.
So, this is my “selfie” at Coast Guard Beach with Nauset Marsh and the ocean in the background.
