There is a new “Flag of Honor” flying over the bench and memorial statue at Hemenway Landing honoring a man from Eastham who died on 9/11.
“The ‘Flag Of Honor’ has been created with the sincerest intentions of honoring the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. This flag includes the names of everyone who perished on 9/11: on all of the planes, at Shanksville, PA, the Pentagon and the World Trade Center.”
May you find peace and love and a few minutes today to honor all those who died on 9/11 and their families.
Amen.
This Flag of Honor is a lovely tribute and remembrance of those we lost on that day. They live on within our hearts forever. Thank you.
