I took a walk at Boat Meadow Beach the other day and saw so many gorgeous sea birds! They were loving the low tides with lots of flats to find their food. (Click on blog link for other photos.)
This little Semipalmated Plover was pulling something out of the mud.
He was very persistent. I wonder what he found… any ideas? It looks like some kind of worm…
According to this Audubon Society article, it’s probably a marine worm. Yum? 🙂
