I always love looking at all of the fishing boats in Provincetown Harbor. I took this photo of the Miss Lilly a while back but just love the coloring of it with the stormy sky. What do you think?

According to April 28, 2021 articles in The Provincetown Independent, the Miss Lilly, captained by lobsterman Mike Rego, has regularly participated in Laura Ludwig’s annual April Fishing Gear Recovery Program. Miss Lilly and a few other boats use sonar and a grapple to find and bring up lost equipment from the bottom of the harbor.
Ludwig is manager of the Marine Debris and Plastics Program for Provincetown’s Center for Coastal Studies. Some of the retrieved gear is usable, some is repurposed, and some must be destroyed,
The Center reports on the sources of the lost equipment to the state of Massachusetts.
