I was so surprised a couple of years ago to learn that there is “another” Coast Guard Beach on Cape Cod. This one is in Truro and is just beautiful! (Click on blog link for other photo.)
Did you know that there are two Coast Guard Beaches on Cape Cod?
A bit of recent history:
“In spring 2016, it was the site of a giant cliff collapse, when more than 31,000 cubic yards of clay and sand slid onto the beach. What a scene! A geologist likened it to a big iceberg calving off a glacier.”

One of my favorites especially in the offseason. Just a few parking spaces, but the beach is just a few steps away.
