We were in Wood’s Hole the other day and decided to take a walk from The Pie in the Sky Bakery downtown out to Nobska Lighthouse. It was a gorgeous day and perfect for a walk near the water. So pretty…
Have you ever walked out to Nobska Lighthouse?

I have! As Swedish immigrant mom grew up in the Saltbox behind Nobska where I spent summers as a child! Many happy memories of going to sleep hearing the foghorn!
“The light station was established in 1828, with the tower protruding above the keeper’s house, and was replaced in 1876 by the current 42 foot tall iron tower…The tower has a brick interior and a metal exterior, formed out of four rings of iron paneling, and rises to a height of 40 feet (12 m). ”
