We took a drive down the beach road at First Encounter Beach and were surprised at how steep the dunes had gotten over the winter. (Click on blog link for other photos.)
It looks like it would be hard for anyone to climb up there, especially with beach gear.
Not even a footprint in the sand. Have you driven down there lately?
Fun Fact:
“Some sand dunes emit a low-frequency humming or booming sound called “singing sand.” The sound is produced when the sand grains rub against each other due to wind or avalanches.”

While there are no avalanches at the Cape, there’s surely lots of wind! 🙂
